常见问题

硬盘搬家会删除我 Mac 上的原文件吗?

默认不会。应用只做「复制」,原文件仍然留在 Mac 上。只有当你手动开启「复制成功后将原文件放入废纸篓」,它才会在复制并校验成功之后,把原文件移入废纸篓(不是直接永久删除)。

它需要联网吗?会上传我的文件吗?

不需要联网,也不会上传任何东西。所有扫描、推荐、复制都在你的 Mac 本机完成,不收集、不上传文件内容、文件名或路径。详见隐私政策

支持哪些 macOS 版本?

支持较新的 macOS 版本。如果你的系统偏旧、无法安装或打开,请邮件告诉我们你的具体 macOS 版本,我们会协助确认。

外接硬盘没有出现在列表里怎么办?

请确认:1)硬盘已在「访达」中正常挂载;2)你在系统弹出的文件选择窗口里,确实选择了这块硬盘上的目标文件夹。硬盘搬家只能访问你通过系统窗口明确授权的位置。

提示没有权限访问某个文件夹?

这是 macOS 的安全保护。请重新用应用里的「选择文件夹」按钮,通过系统弹窗重新授权一次;某些系统目录(如「桌面」「文稿」)可能还需要在「系统设置 → 隐私与安全性 → 文件与文件夹」里允许。

转移中途失败或中断了会怎样?

因为默认是「复制」,原文件不受影响,可以放心重试。请检查外接硬盘剩余空间是否足够、连接是否稳定,然后重新发起转移即可。

Frequently asked questions

Will Drive Mover delete the originals on my Mac?

Not by default. The app only copies files, and originals stay on your Mac. Only if you manually enable "Move originals to Trash after copy" will it move originals to the Trash — and only after the copy has been made and verified (never a direct permanent delete).

Does it need internet? Does it upload my files?

No internet is required and nothing is uploaded. All scanning, recommendations, and copying happen locally on your Mac. It does not collect or upload file contents, names, or paths. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Which macOS versions are supported?

Recent versions of macOS are supported. If your system is older and the app won't install or open, email us your exact macOS version and we'll help confirm compatibility.

My external drive doesn't show up. What do I do?

Check that: 1) the drive is properly mounted in Finder, and 2) you selected a destination folder on that drive through the system file picker. Drive Mover can only access locations you explicitly authorize through the system dialog.

It says it has no permission to access a folder.

That's a macOS security protection. Use the "Choose folder" button in the app to re-authorize through the system dialog. Some system folders (like Desktop or Documents) may also need to be allowed under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Files and Folders.

What happens if a transfer fails or is interrupted?

Since it copies by default, your originals are unaffected and it's safe to retry. Check that the external drive has enough free space and a stable connection, then start the transfer again.
